Audience targeting platform firm [x+1] of New York has announced several new hires and promotions. Mike Dillon (shown), former vp, brand activation marketing at Pepsi N.A., has been named vp, sales for [x+1]'s CPG Connect solution. At Pepsi, Dillon managed a $65 million budget and oversaw development of national promotions, including Super Bowl initiatives and tie-ins with the film Transformers and Madden Gaming/EA Sports. Dave Pollet has been promoted from national sales director to vp, sales. From 2001-05, he was vp, online marketing for Bank of America. Greg Reitman joined [x+1] as director of marketing. Most recently, he was owner and freelance marketing consultant at 30 Second Life Media, where he developed marketing strategies for authors, musicians, filmmakers and others in the creative fields.
Greene Returns to Deutsch in New Role
Cheryl Greene has been hired in a new role as partner, director of business Initiatives at IPG's Deutsch in New York. She joins from MDC's Kirshenbaum Bond Senecal & Partners, where she was managing partner, director of integrated brand strategies. Greene, who had worked with Deutsch from 1992-2008, was part of the executive leadership team that helped transform the shop from boutique status to an integrated marketing provider. Her last role at the agency was brand strategy advisor. In her new role, Greene will lead all strategic business development and new go-to-market efforts, reporting to Deutsch CEO Val DiFebo.
